Emergence responders were called to a local metal concert featuring North City’s own “The Blood Oath of Unpleasantness” band earlier in the week. Responders were responding to a report of two people experiencing medical emergencies. When first responders arrived, they found local residents Daryl Jones and Ray Ginndly lying on the venue’s floor near the stage with obvious signs of bruising, bleeding, head trauma and other conditions consistent with injury but also consistent with really knowing how to party. It was later determined that both men had indeed sustained severe arm and head injuries and that they both definitely knew how to party.
NCN caught up with Daryl and Ray, after the concert, at the hospital where they were in the emergence room being treated for life threatening head injuries.
Daryl told reporters, “I had gotten wasted and threw up on the security guards but, even I have to admit that was pretty lame. One guy climbed up the stage scaffolding and fell back into the crowd but unfortunately he only broke his collar bone and wrenched his back so, again, not too impressive. Pretty standard stuff really.
Ray chimed in, “But when we climbed on the stage just to be thrown off by security head first into the crowd, that’s when the party really got started. We landed on floor, broke our arms and just even suffered head trauma. Now that PARTYING boys. That’s a story to tell your kids.”
Joe Hammer, one of the fans in the crowd at the time said, “I just wish it were me up there honestly.”
A Go Fund Me has been set up in behalf of both Ray and Daryle to cover the costs of all the “Get Well Boys” parties that they have been having since leaving the hospital this week.. In a statement released by Jones and Ginndly they wrote, “We would like to thank security staff for throwing us off the stage into the crowd in the direction of our buddy that was filming us for our Instagram Account. We. could have never achieved the thousand of clicks and likes on our many social media accounts with out them. You guys rule”.
During the concert members of “Blood Oath” quickly announced that two people had gotten seriously hurt and made a plea to the audience to remain safe while partying their faces off. Concert video submitted to NCN shows band members telling fans, “We are sad to report that two of our fans, Daryle and Ray, did get seriously hurt tonight and that is a good reminder to everyone to be safe while you are getting wasted and jumping head first into the moshpit. But let’s face it, those two seriously know how to PARTY!! THOSE GUYS ARE LEGENDS MAN!”
