Local metal band takes heart-felt and courageous stand in support of their social media platform algorithm.

Local metal band “Blood Oath of Unpleasantness” has decided to take a heart-felt and courageous stand in support of an issue frequently presented by their social media  feed  algorithm.

Lead guitarist, Lee “Nostrils” Jones, told reporters , “Social media companies spend a lot of money to create algorithms that save users like me the time of actually researching and considering different preceptives on any social issue. Quite frankly, forming an educated opinion about a complex social issue would take way more time than I have right now. Besides, algorithms are mathematical, and you just can’t argue with math now can you.”

As a band, we have to apologize to us our fans for not publicly standing up for our algorithm-generated opinions (AGOs) sooner.  We pledge to make sure AGOs will be central to all our music going forward.

Hey, what’s more reliable than what I see on my news feed?

We also plan to demonstrate a maximum outrage reaction (MOR) whenever we encounter opinions that are not backed by the AGO that we support. We hope that all our fans will join us in creating their own MOR in support of our shared AGO.
